New York Plastic Surgical Group Welcomes Two New Surgeons to Its Team
Garden City, NY, Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- New York Plastic Surgical Group (NYPS Group), one of the nation's most respected plastic surgery practices, proudly welcomes two new surgeons, Steven Cai, MD, and Ian L. McCulloch, MD, to its team.
Steven Cai, MD joins NYPS Group after completing his Plastic Surgery Residency at New York Plastic Surgical Group and Nassau University Medical Center on Long Island. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. He then completed a five-year General Surgery Residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Cai specializes in facial aesthetics, including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, and deep plane facelifts. He completed international observerships in South Korea, studying contemporary facial aesthetic techniques with leading surgeons. Dr. Cai has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and is conversational in Mandarin. He sees patients throughout Long Island and Manhattan.
Ian L. McCulloch, MD joins NYPS Group after completing his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the Harvard Plastic Surgery Residency Program, where he served as Chief Resident of the Executive Committee. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from West Virginia University School of Medicine and a Master of Research in Medicine from the University of St. Andrews School of Medicine in Scotland. Dr. McCulloch specializes in facial rejuvenation, including facelift, neck lift, blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, otoplasty, brow lift, and facial fat grafting. He is an active researcher with 15 peer-reviewed publications and has served as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard Medical School. Dr. McCulloch will see patients at NYPS Group's Columbus Circle, Westchester, and Garden City locations.
